MARTIN BILLING, PRINTERS, LIVERY STREET

Martin Billing & Company of Livery Street were the official printers for the Great Western Railway in Birmingham from at least 1895 to 1948. They produced hand bills and time tables for Birmingham Snow Hill as well as other local GWR stations

Mr Billing lived in Acocks Green and I have a written railway record of him falling over trying to catch his train to work one morning at Acocks Green station.

Billing Printers were still in business in the 70s in Birmingham when I spoke to his son on the phone.

It is believed that the business no longer exists, any information about the Billings would be welcomed.

Later there will be examples of this printers work shewn here.
